Each week, State Technical Director Greg Maas provides a training session or article on a particular topic for the benefit of our membership and general coaching community. “I truly believe the information will help coaches foster improved player development by providing correct and progressive coaching methods,” Maas said.

Utah Youth Soccer is under the direction of Technical Director Greg Maas. Coach Maas has earned his USSF “A” License, USSF National Youth License, NSCAA International Premier Diploma and the NSCAA Master Coach Diploma (pending). Coach Maas also serves as a National Staff Coach and Instructor with U.S. Soccer, US Youth Soccer and the NSCAA. Coach Maas is entering his 4th year as the U-17 Head Coach for Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer – the 2008 MLS U-17 SUM Cup Champions, and capped another undefeated run finishing 3rd in 2009; and he has served eight years as a Region Staff Coach with US Youth Soccer's Region IV Boys ODP.
