Hi Parents of Academy Players,
I wanted to update you. Thank you for being patient with us. We are a work in progress and although we have amazing coaching, I am trying to keep up with them!
I am letting you know our summer plans. Paul VonStrahl, one of our great coaches is determined to coach these great players. As a result, he will run 3 camps this summer. I know that some of you registered under the premise that your U10 player would do league play. Paul will choose two teams and go that route. For now, U10 is considered Academy.
How this will work, is each camp is $50 payable to Utah FC, either by the website or a check. I will find a way to be at the beginning of each camp. The camps are OPTIONAL, but this is a great opportunity. Should your athlete receive placement on another team, than there will be additional league fees. If you will continue in our inaugural Academy season, your $50 payment(s) will go toward the fees for the Academy in the Fall. This is a unique opportunity for you to receive some "bonus" training.
Please e-mail me if you plan on attending camp and which one(s). Be sure to bring lots of water, it is warm that time of day. We are anxious to watch these great athletes! I am missing some e-mail addresses from registration so this will be on the website, and feel free to spread the word!
The camps will run at Sertoma Park in Provo. They will be from 4pm-6pm on:
June 14-17
July 12-15
July 19-22
